AT 3FINERY LTD we are looking for a Junior Software Engineer to join our rapidly growing team. The candidate will work remotely in a dynamic team across various emerging technologies to develop algorithms and software for outstanding cutting-edge products.
The successful applicant will be a junior employee in a small-sized start-up with high-growth potential arising from a 5-year EU project which has now been backed by Innovate UK. The employee will be given direction and autonomy to design solutions creatively and follow through with implementation while collaborating closely with others while becoming proficient in computer graphics and Augmented Reality (AR).
In this job, the employee will develop skills and knowledge in the implementation and deployment of novel software products and services to the market. The successful applicant will aid in the research and development of state-of-the-art graphics and rendering algorithms for AR frameworks in mobile devices and assist in the implementation of proof-of-concept innovative concepts, including both traditional and machine learning approaches, to overcome technical challenges and enhance the user experience of our products.
A degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Mathematics, Engineering, or any related discipline is preferred. Experience in Software Development, primarily using Unity and C# is desired. Experience using Testing and Debugging tools and doing Performance profiling is greatly advantageous.
The ability to document software designs and clearly present algorithms and technical details is required. Excellent communication skills, a results-oriented attitude, and proficiency in problem-solving are key.
The successful candidate will be completely home-based for this position and will be provided with a virtual work environment in which progress meetings are held periodically via videoconference. Progress tracking is done with daily interaction through a work messaging app and tasks are tracked online through an agile-oriented platform.
