We are looking to hire a Marketing Lead who can provide high-level strategic vision and plans for our catalog of projects. This person should have a robust attention to detail, alongside the ability to analyze and interpret creative agendas. Our ideal candidate will have extensive marketing experience coupled with a comprehensive knowledge of branding. They must have the ability to lead a team – and interact with our clients and partners on a regular basis. This will be a full-time position, and is fully remote. (but being based in LA/California is a bonus).

You are:

  • Able to develop and form a plan to execute marketing campaigns across different mediums that drive brand and project awareness.
  • Able to assess marketing and PR needs – while providing strategic visions with a plan of actionable steps associated.
  • Confident leading efforts and advising on which events to participate in, alongside previous existing knowledge of logistics surrounding events, etc.
  • Provide PR connections alongside experience – having previously worked with Influencers is a bonus.
  • Ability to demonstrate knowledge of Marketing strategies related to online and offline tools.
  • Comfortable with data analysis and synthesis around forecasting and cost-benefit/return on investment.
  • Able to maintain a leadership and managerial role with multiple people reporting to you with updates surrounding development and marketing (including but not limited to social media, community, and influencer relationships); be able to deliver clear instructions and provide constructive feedback.
  • Comfortable being fairly developer-facing, alongside the Producer. For example, if the producer is taking notes and managing time, you’re confident in pitching the creative direction and ideas on behalf of our marketing team to the developers.

  • 4+ years of education and/or job experience in brand marketing, product marketing, experiential marketing or a related field.
  • Previous experience in the game development industry.
  • Ability to demonstrate strong knowledge of marketing principles and practices (such as maintaining branding over a period of time, etc)- through portfolio pieces or previous examples of work.
  • Ability to assimilate information and develop relevant content for projects and products while maintaining timelines – while simultaneously ensuring our company’s brand and vision stay in-tact throughout the process.
  • You are an out of the box thinker who can easily be sparked with ideas off very little.
