Job Description:

We are currently seeking a talented 3D Modeler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong artistic sense and excellent knowledge of 3D modeling tools. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and texturing 3D models that are consistent with the artistic direction of our latest game, developed on the Unreal Engine platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and texture 3D models based on concept art or real-world references.
• Collaborate with the design and art teams to understand and interpret artistic direction.
• Optimize models for real-time rendering in Unreal Engine while maintaining a high level of visual fidelity.
• Rig models for animation when necessary.
• Participate in reviews and iterations of the game's artistic direction.
• Maintain organization and manage assets in 3D libraries.
• Proactively seek feedback and communicate with team members to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a 3D Modeler in the video game industry.
• Strong portfolio showcasing your 3D modeling skills.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling software (Maya, 3DS Max, ZBrush, Blender or similar).
• Knowledge of texturing and UV mapping.
• Understanding of form, shape, structure, and silhouette in regard to modeling.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Unreal Engine 4 or 5.
• Knowledge of PBR (Physically Based Rendering) workflows.
• Experience with sculpting organic forms or complex environments.
• Basic understanding of rigging and animation.
