Altered Gene is a remote development studio headquartered in the UK. Our mission is to craft omni-channel games and experiences using the core pillars of story, quality and accessibility. The team is currently working on building a story-verse spanning five individual projects.

Responsibilities

As our Social Media and Community Manager, you will be responsible for creating monthly social media content plans and looking after our community engagement. You will be responsible for creating strategies and executing plans to increase both followers and engagement rate across all of our channels. (Twitter, Facebook, TikTok etc). You will also be expected to create engaging content for our social media accounts.

Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate will be a great communicator with a creative background and an eye for detail.
  • They will be good-humoured and have the ability to stay cool under pressure.
  • Experience writing clear, concise and engaging copy for social media is a must.
  • They will also have competent graphics skills in Photoshop or Illustrator, including a good understanding of cropping & layout. Experience in creating specific formats for social media content which can run over longer time periods is desirable.
  • The candidate must have great written and spoken English
  • Additionally if the candidate is able to use data to develop social media strategies, optimising their performance over time that would be a bonus.

Location

This role is fully remote and we support flexible working. As long as you have approval from your line manager, your hours can be distributed through the week as you please up to a maximum of 7 hours per day and a minimum of 25 hours per week.
