We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Part-Time Associate Producer at Andromeda Entertainment. As the Part-Time Associate Producer, you will play a vital role in coordinating award-winning VR development teams and internal processes to ensure our titles are delivered on time and according to plan. In this position, you will report directly to Emmett, our Title Producer & work alongside the Marketing Director to organise major timelines. This is a part-time position with flexible work hours.

 

Core Hours: Monday - Thursday 7am - 11am PST/10am-2pm EST

Responsibilities

  • Manage deliverables, timelines, builds, asset creation and management, repository updates, and platform communication to ensure the smooth progress of projects.
  • Work closely with associated title development teams to define and delineate project requirements and milestones.
  • Facilitate communication and planning across development teams and sub-teams.
  • Contribute to and maintain project roadmaps, backlogs, schedules, and other documentation.
  • Conduct regular sprint review meetings and effective retrospectives.
  • Maintain sprint SCRUM boards to track the progress of tasks.
  • Coordinate the work of cross-functional development teams to manage features and content from idea generation to in-game implementation.
  • Track the prioritisation of tasks and anticipate potential problems, such as resource blockers, quality concerns, and scope changes, communicating them clearly to the Title Producer.
  • Collaborate and support in solving problems and blocking issues across the development team, including logistics.
  • Assume ownership of assigned titles based on project complexity and platforms.
  • Transfer title ownership/management when a project is released and no longer in active development.

 

Requirements

  • Proficient at working in a fully remote team environment.
  • Proactive at identifying areas of concern and independently taking action.
  • Open, honest, and direct communication style with proficiency in setting personal boundaries.
  • Professional, kind, and considerate with excellent communication skills.
  • Excitement and passion for working on XR experiences and the future of XR as a transformative medium.
  • Ability to create, track, and maintain schedules across multiple teams or sub-teams.
  • Knowledge of software development process, project management, and agile development methodologies.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • At least one year of practical game development experience, including at least one completed professional, personal, or school project.

 

Nice To Have

  • Experience and passion for Mixed Reality, Augmented Reality, and Virtual Reality as a medium.
  • Experience with Jira for task management and bug tracking.
  • Written or spoken Chinese, Mandarin, and Simplified Chinese.
  • Personal wellness practice and 1-5 year personal development plan.
