  • All of the above, plus:
  • ~3+ years of game industry experience with at least one shipped title
  • Experience working on games for PC and consoles.
  • Demonstrable experience solving production problems and keeping projects on track.
  • Robust understanding of game production and development timelines.

Would Be Nice:

  • Experience working on mobile games.
  • Knowledge of the indie gaming market.
  • A love for puzzle and thinking games.

Careers at Astra

We are a small team of builders who love games. We know that games can shape minds and cultures, because they’ve shaped ours. We work hard to amplify creators that take this responsibility seriously.

We've been funding thinking games and offering grants to promising early-career designers, and now we think it's time to set up a publisher focused on those games. A lot of people enjoy games like Baba Is You, ElecHead, or The Witness as one-off experiences without identifying as a fan of a genre, and we believe there's an opportunity here to build a brand that can bring this eager audience what they didn't know they were missing.

Talent is at the heart of our mission. We believe deeply in the power of a talented and diverse team to make a big impact. Join us.
