Our founding team consists of games, game technology, media and entrepreneurial leaders that are striving to build live services that last for decades. We value the craftsmanship of classic game making as well as the iterative world of live games. Our culture is “Fun”. Our first live service is based on a well established fantasy IP and aims to connect camp-fire survival (co-op) with tactical dungeons (action) and an economy hub (trading).

Collaborate on implementing new gameplay features: player and characters’ behaviors, combat and power mechanics, user interface, etc.
Work closely with designers, artists, and producers to iterate on gameplay features and ensure a great player experience.
Develop and own the procedural world generation of our survival game
Create the foundation of the multiplayer backend (client/server architecture) with Unreal
Implement a 3rd party online services suite (Playfab or EOS)
Collaborate with other team members to build sustainable and maintainable technologies and optimized code on all platforms.
Provides high-level estimation and task management for incoming project requirements
Inspires and motivates the team to generate new ideas and solutions that optimize our development workflow
Reviews and collaborates on technical design and code implementation
Provides knowledge sharing between other development teams and departments
4+ years of experience as a Game Dev Engineer, UE4 Developer, or comparative role
Expert in UE4 with experience in Blueprints
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent English communication and collaboration skills
Ability to collaborate and work well other disciplines
First Experience with procedurally generated worlds
Experience with gameplay features like Inventory, Crafting, and Monster AI
Comfortable wearing many hats and jumping into something new from time to time
Knowledgeable in refactoring and optimization when they are appropriate.
