Cygnus Entertainment is seeking a 3D Environmental Artist to work from anywhere.

We’re looking for a 3D Environment Artist to work on our major new VR and PC release: The Colossal Cave.


  • Create awesome Environmental Art
  • Collaborate with our team of artists.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be United States based, or able to work standard United States hours
  • Must be fluent in English (both written and spoken)
  • Experience with Unity
  • Experience building high-quality environments
  • Experience working in Zbrush, Substance, and Maya or other industry standard 3D software
  • Expert understanding of composition, form, color and light and how it applies to 3D environments
  • Experience working on games

About Cygnus Entertainment

Cygnus Entertainment was formed in by Ken and Roberta Williams, who are best known as the founders of Sierra On-Line, a legendary publishing company that they founded in 1979.

Ken ran the company and Roberta designed many of the hit titles over a 20-year period prior to selling the company and retiring. During that time Sierra On-Line dominated the industry bestseller charts releasing over 200 titles, including King’s Quest, Space Quest, Half-Life, Ultima, Red Baron, Half-Life, Nascar, Quest For Glory, Dr.Brain and many others.

In 2020 the Williams decided to re-enter the games business creating Cygnus Entertainment. Their first product is a complete reimagining of the game that launched Sierra On-Line, Colossal Cave.

Cygnus presently has a team of 16 full time developers.

About Colossal Cave

Colossal Cave is a first person adventure/action game scheduled for release in Fall of 2020 on a variety of PC and VR devices.
