Double Loop Games is looking for an experienced Art Outsourcing Manager to help drive the art for a new, original mobile game.

Double Loop Games is looking for an experienced mobile games Art Outsourcing Manager to help us organize and run a growing pipeline of art for our new, original game. The ideal candidate has a wealth of experience working with teams of all sizes, both internal and external. They should showcase a track record of high quality work, excellent attention to detail, and enthusiasm for their craft.


  • Oversee outsourced art creation and management
  • Hold external artists to a high standard of quality and ensure art consistently meets the game’s artistic guidelines
  • Plan assets, cost tasks, and coordinate schedule & needs effectively both internally and externally
  • Give constructive feedback and direct external artists to final quality results
  • Develop art specs, materials, documentation and templates for external art teams
  • Work with the Art Director to set expectations for external work
  • Manage communication between internal and external artists
  • Integrate incoming art into the game engine


  • 3+ years industry experience working with external artists or companies
  • Portfolio showcasing a high bar of quality for concept or 2D art
  • Understanding of nature, anatomy, and architecture
  • Strong understanding of Photoshop, Unity
  • Strong ability to communicate in English, both verbally and written
  • Conscientious and self-motivated
  • Strong understanding of common animation tools


  • Knowledge of 3D modeling tools and processes
  • Knowledge of 3D or 2D animation tools and processes
  • Knowledge of 3D materials and shaders
  • A love of relaxing, delightful gameplay, and beautiful worlds filled with both outdoor spaces and intimate village life
  • A strong desire to step outside of your comfort zone and learn new things
