Dreamlit Entertainment is seeking an enthusiastic and talented Generalist Engineer, passionate about Environment Art and Animation pipelines. As an Engineer, you will collaborate closely with the Art Director to ensure the visual fidelity of Towers.

Responsibilities

  • Improve animation pipelines to ensure a smooth player experience around Combat and Character Traversal.
  • Work with engineering to optimize content for porting and refine release & pipeline processes.
  • Guide and support interoperability of systems created by content (levels and characters) and feature teams by identifying and advocating technical budget trade-offs and opportunities.
  • Review feasibility of incoming creative briefs.
  • Support the Art and Level Design departments by creating and developing tools and features that will make development easier.

Expectations from you:

  • Strong practical knowledge of C++, with relevant professional experience.
  • Professional Unreal Engine development experience and a good understanding of the rendering and animation pipelines.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical team members.
  • Experience profiling and optimizing code for optimal CPU, GPU and memory.
  • Experience developing for Xbox One and/or PS4. PlayStation5 experience a bonus.
  • Passion for Art Tools and high quality visuals.
