Dreamlit Entertainment is seeking an enthusiastic and talented UI Engineer. As a UI Engineer, you will collaborate with other engineers and Designers to help develop and implement various systems and features for the game in C++ and UE4.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Production, Leads and Designers to create interfaces for games on console, PC and mobile
  • Take wireframes and design specs and turn them into reality
  • Use engine/animation tools to bring the UI to life
  • Create functional and responsive UI systems
  • Design, write, debug and refine UI systems
  • Assist in the design of UI functionality
  • Implement UI design assets in-game

Requirements

  • 3+ years games industry programming experience
  • Knowledge of Unreal Engine and C++
  • Experience of creating complete UI systems
  • Bringing UI to life through motion/transition design
  • Comfortable working with teams across the world and in different timezones
  • Exposure to UI system creation on multiple platforms

Desired Skills

  • Experience designing user interfaces either professionally or independently
  • Experience creating user interface functionality through code
