E-Line is a leading developer and publisher of game-based learning products and services that empower young people to understand and shape their world. Our work in the formal and informal learning spaces has focused on connecting the natural interest and passion of youth for playing and making video games with innovative opportunities to develop design, critical thinking, coding and collaboration skills. E-Line’s products and services have helped empower young people to make over 2 million games that have been played tens of millions of times.

E-Line is currently piloting a unique online and blended learning program where young people will make games together while apprenticing with professional game makers. We are seeking an exceptional candidate to coordinate the operations of this program.

The Learning Operations Manager will be responsible for orchestrating the day-to-day learning operations of the program. This role will coordinate deeply with the design, product and sales teams to support the training of staff, rollout of curriculum and content and the implementation of the program with new partners.

This position allows for work-from-home opportunities, with flexibility to travel to program sites and our studio locations on a regular basis. The position will start as a part-time (~20 hours per week) opportunity, growing to a full-time position as the program scales over the coming months.

As our Learning Operations Manager, you will ...

  • Lead sourcing of instructor staff for both virtual and in-person programs;
  • Develop and institute operational policies and procedures to ensure quality delivery of the program;
  • Develop training materials and procedures to support the onboarding of program staff;
  • Institute and instrument procedures to ensure consistency and quality of program delivery, for instance, quality assessment and staff time tracking;
  • Coordinate with learning design and product teams to implement and assess the effectiveness of new learning content and technology products;
  • Work with sales team to support the rollout of the program with new programmatic partners and at new locations;

We are looking for someone who has …

  • Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree preferred);
  • 3+ years operations management experience, preferably in education or a related field;
  • Experience coordinating a highly-distributed, primarily virtual workforce;
  • A personal passion for games, as well as a literacy of gaming history, genres, etc.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills;
  • An entrepreneurial spirit and desire to help develop a business from an early stage;
  • Excitement at the prospect of working in a frenetic, rapidly-evolving environment;
  • A passion for educating young people and making the world a better place.
