Are you the best at designing awesome game mechanics?

Can you show us how experienced you are with a portfolio of examples made by you?

Do you play lots of games? Have you got an encyclopedic knowledge of game mechanics?

If so, we might have the perfect job for you.

We’re a team of seven who are working on a relaxing retro-style country life sim.

Your role will be to assist the lead game designer in developing the gameplay, from abstract concepts to detailed game mechanics.

You will also help implement the game mechanics in Unity, mostly by using existing systems created by our lead coder. Training will be provided to bring you up to speed.

  • General coding and/or node graph coding experience is not a must but would help.
  • Experience in level design is also a plus but not a requirement.
  • A formal qualification in game design and game development is a plus. However, sheer talent can make up for a lack of academic merits if your portfolio is impressive.

In return, we can offer you a full-time job, a good salary - and a friendly and fun work environment without crunch time. Our office is based in the Netherlands but working remotely is not a problem (lots of our team already do).
