Fire Hose Games is looking for a Marketing Intern to join our team and help us develop and execute marketing campaigns that align with our overall strategy, both for the upcoming launch of Techtonica and our studio-wide branding efforts. As a Marketing Intern, you'll collaborate with our marketing team to create content for various social media channels and communities. Successful candidates will be passionate about video games and fluent with the state of Twitch, TikTok, and other platforms. This is a full-time, paid, remote summer internship with one of the Boston area’s premiere indie game studios.
Our studio is fully-remote, so interns who can sync with U.S. East Coast hours may work from anywhere. Start and stop dates are flexible to work around the student’s schedule. This is an opportunity to build skills and relationships while also doing meaningful marketing work on a commercial game title. Fire Hose Games is the Boston-based (but fully-remote) independent game development studio behind titles such as Techtonica, Go Home Dinosaurs, Catlateral Damage, and 20XX.

Techtonica is a first-person factory building game set beneath the surface of an alien planet. Work alone or in co-op to build factories, gather resources, research new technologies, mold the destructible terrain, establish a base of operations, and uncover long-forgotten secrets.
We’ve been lucky to have some incredible jobs working at and partnering with some of the biggest brands in video games.
But we’ve never had more fun and been more fulfilled than when we were working with indie game developers.
