Five Mics Studios is building “Five Mics,” a digital hip-hop trading card game (think Hearthstone, but with rappers not dragons).

We’re looking for a Community Manager who will be responsible for managing and engaging with Five Mics' online community in a way which drives strong engagement with our video game and characters. They will work closely with the CEO to align with Five Mics business objectives and work cross functionally to create, implement, and manage social media and communication campaigns.

We are in our early stages as a studio and are looking for someone that is eager to jump into something brand new, hit the ground running, and build something huge that’s never been seen before.

The role is hybrid and based in Los Angeles, CA.

Responsibilities:

• Create, implement, and manage social media and communication campaigns
• Manage, monitor, and interact daily in Discord server, running tactics to bolster growth and engagement
• Plan social content and maintain a content calendar
• Monitor overall marketing strategy by overseeing social media campaigns

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 3+ years' in marketing, advertising or related role
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong Discord and social media skills
• Knowledge of gaming industry trends

Bonus Points:

• Solid experience in playing and/or creating trading card games
• Love hip-hop music and culture
