Skills & Requirements
To thrive as an Animator at Flatter Than Earth you will have:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Animator & 1 year as a Senior or Lead Animator.
- Good knowledge of Gameplay/Unity Animator system a plus
- Strong grasp of Maya.
- Ability to optimize animation regarding game performance.
- Good understanding of video game development and the animation creation process.
- Good knowledge of English (the team is multicultural) both spoken and written.
- Exceptional communication and teamwork skills.
- Nice-to-have:
- Storyboarding, gesture drawing, 2D animation, composition
- Rigging, python scripting
Fundamental Info

- Job Type: Always Remote, ideally Full-Time but can start as Part-Time
- Freelance Contract: core team member (current game + DLC + future game(s))

Once Upon a Puppet is a magical tale that combines classic platforming mechanics with innovative puppet-inspired gameplay. Embark on a mesmerizing journey of friendship, discovery, and destiny.
Players will take on the roles of Nieve, a Stagehand who was exiled to the Understage, and Drev, a Puppet magically bound to her. As they strive to return to the theater above, they will retell forgotten stories, uncover hidden secrets, and realize their fate is tied to the kingdom itself.
