GOLF+ is the leader in the VR golf space, and one of the Top Selling VR apps. We’ve grown over 300% YoY and expect that growth to continue. As we increase the size of the team and the VR market matures, we need a Community Manager to activate, engage and continue growing our amazing player community. Our player community means a lot to GOLF+ and ensuring they have an amazing experience is a top priority. The Community Manager will be GOLF+’s online voice and act as a bridge between the community and the developers. They will be responsible for representing the game team to the community including game updates, troubleshooting issues, and marketing promotions, as well as communicating with gamers directly on Discord and FB Group.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and help moderate the official GOLF+ Discord server and FB Group.
  • Collaborate with the Social Media Content Creator to create engaging player content.
  • Create plans for growth and activation, and provide analysis reports on those initiatives.
  • Engage with users; provide guidance, support and insight on all existing and new content.
  • Align with marketing to create proposals that support community activations.
  • Promote product milestones and provide awareness to the community.
  • Create compelling communications to acquire, engage and excite our players.
  • Collect user feedback on issues, hot topics, bugs etc. and report them to the development team.
  • Coordinate with customer service teams to ensure positive player experiences and work on any communication plans with them when needed.
  • Create reports that highlight all activities, events, etc within the GOLF+ community.
  • Monitor and track the performance of the community; tracking key community KPIs, community sentiment, etc. and provide visibility to the game team.

Required Skills

  • Patience and empathy.
  • Strong communication and listening skills.
  • Creative thinking.
  • Understanding of general engagement analytics.
  • Understanding of streaming, experience as a streamer & knowledge of esports is an asset.
  • Experience being an active member of a gaming community is highly preferred.
  • Strong preference is given to anyone with an affinity for GOLF+ and knowledge of golf.
