Happy Volcano is looking for a DevOps engineer who can help our small team put our multiplayer “games as a service” live ops theory into practice.
We would like to meet someone with experience and self-motivation, who can provide our game You Suck At Parking (and future projects) with the necessary tools and services for an ambitious live multiplayer game.
This might involve creating load testing scenarios, measuring and optimizing how many players can be packed onto a server, setting up automated testing solutions, creating and optimizing in-game events and promotions, handling user generated content and developing monetization solutions, estimating the cost of infrastructure based on the number of users by location,...
If these are the things you’re comfortable with or are willing to learn about, we really want to talk to you!
We are excited about candidates who value efficiency, have a pragmatic approach to problem solving and an eagerness to get things done. We're looking for a positive, active, and contributing team member with good communication skills.
Candidates from under-represented backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
Some other things we’ll ask of you…
It would be nice-to-have if...
