We are looking for a 3D Character Art Manager to join our 3D Character Art Team to help deliver amazing 3D Character models and help shape the direction of the team. The 3D Character Art Manager will work closely with the Art Director and Concept Art team to make sure that the models and textures stand out and help bring our characters to life.

Responsibilities:

• Help Develop and evolve efficient growth processes to level up the efficiency of the character team
• Partner with leadership in developing a career path and managing team development
• Partner up with leadership and producers in evaluating craft level and deadline defficiencies to help the team overcome obstacles
• Build outsourcing strategies and necessary documentation to ensure internal and external teams are set up for success
• Create a diverse and inclusive team where all members feel they have a voice and are welcome
• Act as the bridge between Creative Direction, Art Direction, and Production Leadership

Required Qualifications:

• At least 5-7+ years of relevant industry or professional experience
• At least 3-4+ years of experience managing or leading teams
• Strong understanding of stylized hand-painted 3D Art process and pipeline
• Advanced knowledge in 3D sculpting, modeling and textures

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with 3D production pipelines and its stages
• Understanding of visual industry quality standard and what Great visuals look like
• Experience working in several tools, pipelines, and game engines
• Experience managing 3D Artists and providing actionable feedback to help improve their craft
