We’re looking for a Senior Gameplay Engineer to join our Engineering team, helping deliver on the world of FANGS and bring our game to players across the world. The Senior Gameplay Engineer will closely partner with the rest of the Engineering and Design team to help create the world and deliver awesome competitive and social features. You will be expected to help guide the team, making architectural designs and implementations, and working on various high priority features.  This position will be focused on delivering high-quality, scalable code and architecture, while also mentoring other Engineers and QA team members.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with Product and Design teams to develop and ship code that captures our gameplay goals and prioritizes quality and player satisfaction
  • You should be comfortable with taking high level goals and developing a plan for delivering code that demonstrably delivers desired results
  • You will help develop and execute the Engineering roadmap
  • You will document code changes and coordinate with QA

Required Qualifications:

  • 3-5+ years of professional experience as an engineer in games
  • You are proficient in C++, defect tracking, and source control software
  • Experience building developer tools for content management
  • You’re super comfortable working in Unreal Engine and creating code that leverages the blueprint system

Desired Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with UE4
  • Previously worked on a live service game or shipped AAA titles
  • Experience with online game development
  • You’ve lead teams or projects before
