As the Marketing Associate reporting to the VP of Publishing & Marketing, you'll join a small, tight knit marketing team on the cusp of a global game launch. You’ll play a key role in creating and launching marketing campaigns for our in-development 3v3 Action MOBA game, FANGS. As a core gamer, you intuitively understand what resonates with the core gamer audience. You’re a digital native who can easily discern between “authentic” and “cringe”. You’re process minded and able to manage complex projects proactively. Your understanding of player expectations and team capabilities will make you a critical bridge between the marketing and development teams.
Engage with players where they are (platforms, channels, events) as a representative of the Hidden Leaf development team and member of the FANGS community
Establish the high level strategies and tactics needed to engage the pre-launch community, grow the community through launch, and sustain for years to come.
Develop the tools needed to help the Hidden Leaf team engage with the FANGS community, advising the team on player sentiment, needs, behaviors, and trends.
Build out and manage programs to identify and support future FANGS endemic influencers and community content creators.
Partner with key production and marketing stakeholders to establish how FANGS content & communications should be served up to through community channels.
Advocate for the development of community focused features within the FANGS roadmap.
Create and manage measurable social media campaigns to grow channels, increase positive engagement, and improve channel health.
Experienced: You have at least one years’ experience in video game marketing or equivalent project experience.
A gamer through and through: You know and love core competitive games. You don’t need to be top 100 on any global leaderboards, but you understand the deep game mechanics needed to get there.
Proactive self-starter: You're a highly-motivated independent thinker who'd rather ask for forgiveness than permission.
Tactical Marketer: You have a good gut sense of how to communicate specific messages through creative executions, and the process knowledge to direct the production of that creative.
Collaborative: You relish a brainstorm, level-up through constructive criticism and positive feedback, and work with cross-functional teams to get the best outcome.
