As Senior Community Manager reporting to the VP of Publishing & Marketing, you'll join a small-but-passionate pre-launch community of FANGS players and establish the foundations for long term community growth and sustainment. As a core gamer, you deeply understand what core gaming communities need to thrive. You’ll lead all community development efforts, from high level strategy through tactical Discord chats, social posts, and playtests. Your understanding of player expectations and team capabilities will make you a critical bridge between the community and the development team.
Engage with players where they are (platforms, channels, events) as a representative of the Hidden Leaf development team and member of the FANGS community
Establish the high level strategies and tactics needed to engage the pre-launch community, grow the community through launch, and sustain for years to come.
Develop the tools needed to help the Hidden Leaf team engage with the FANGS community, advising the team on player sentiment, needs, behaviours, and trends.
Build out and manage programs to identify and support future FANGS endemic influencers and community content creators.
Partner with key production and marketing stakeholders to establish how FANGS content & communications should be served up to through community channels.
Advocate for the development of community focused features within the FANGS roadmap.
Create and manage measurable social media campaigns to grow channels, increase positive engagement, and improve channel health.
Experienced: You have at least three years’ experience in community management in a player-facing role
A gamer through and through: You know and love core competitive games. You don’t need to be top 100 on any global leaderboards, but you understand the deep game mechanics needed to get there.
Social Media experience using Discord, Youtube, Twitch, Steam, Twitter etc
Collaborative: You relish a brainstorm, level-up through constructive criticism and positive feedback, and work with cross-functional teams to get the best outcome.
Data: You know how to translate what players are saying into data-informed strategies and solutions that help us promote player engagement, awareness and trust.
Previous experience organizing and facilitating pre-launch playtests, from Alpha through Open Beta.
You’ve shipped games or worked on live service games before
