We are an independent video game studio currently working on our first title which is an unannounced original PC/Console narrative-driven simulation game. We are looking for a people and culture manager. This position will be focused on fostering a supportive, fair and equitable working environment for our studio. We are a small team of around 12 full time employees! 

This position is suggested to be part time but we are open to discussion on another arrangement. 

This position is remote with at minimum a 9 month commitment. 

What you will do: 

  • Help further develop employee studio policy and company best practice 
  • Lead monthly one on one meetings with all Ivy Road staff members
  • Promote a culture of feedback, self-reflection and diversity of perspectives. Integrate our commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility into our performance management.  
  • Respond to complaints and employee relations issues; address conflicts and grievance escalations; ensure fair and consistent enforcement of policies and processes
  • Be the core contact person for the well-being of employees 
  • Assist production with future hiring 


  • The ideal candidate for this role is an empathetic, creative, socially adept communicator with strong critical thinking skills 
  • Previous Human Resources Experience 
  • Experience at a video game studio
