Juicy Beast is looking for an exceptionally talented UI Programmer for our upcoming unannounced action game! You’ll be in charge of implementing all the UI for this project, along with adding new features to our existing UI framework. This is a full-time, remote-friendly and long-term contract position scheduled for the duration of the project with the potential of a permanent position when the project wraps (estimated 2023).

Project description:

  • An Action-RPG (unannounced) with a strong focus on crafting and exploration, all wrapped in charming 2D art with a touch of humour!

You will need to:

  • Have an expert level understanding of Unity (C#)
  • Learn how to use our internal UI framework.
  • Work closely with the UI Designer to meet the designs' requirements.
  • Add new features to our UI framework while keeping consistency with the existing code.
  • Be available for daily standups via video calls for at least one hour per day.
  • Speak French and/or English fluently.

  • Has great attention to details and high quality standards.
  • Is open to constructive criticism and is not afraid to iterate to produce polished UI.
  • Thrives in a team environment and is a strong communicator (verbal and written).

  • Has a keen interest in video games and has a pulse on the games market at large.
  • Wins bonus points if they live in the province of Quebec, Canada.
