Kitten Cup Studio is looking for a Social Media Manager for our upcoming game Pekoe. This is a remote work-for-hire contract open to Ontario residents (we are unable to hire outside of the province at this time, sorry!).
This position is compensated at $25/h and the contract is for 8 hours a week. The intent of this position is to grow with the company. There is a two month probation period. We encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet every criteria listed. Folks historically marginalized in the videogame industry and those with diverse backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply.
APPLICATIONS WILL CLOSE OCTOBER 1 2022
As the Social Media Manager you will be working with the team to create content and post about Pekoe. This includes posting on our social channels and interacting with our community. You will be working closely with the Art Director and Marketing Manager to announce characters, promote the game, and interact on behalf of the studio online.
In your application, please include an example of a Halloween themed tweet in the tone of our social media.

Kitten Cup Studio is a small Toronto-based indie studio with a passion for making cozy games. We’re working towards building a sustainable space and diverse team of developers who want to make heartfelt experiences through games, and are currently working on our first release Pekoe!
Pekoe is a 3D tea-making simulator about making tea for cats and connecting with what makes you happy. As the newest resident and teahouse owner in town, you’ll learn everything there is to harvesting, preparing, and serving tea. Build relationships, upgrade your teahouse, and discover new recipes as you work towards creating a place you can call home.
👋 Work With Indies hosted an AMA last year with Len Predko, Executive Director at Kitten Cup Studio, where they answered questions about the game, studio, and their application process. While the AMA was for a different role, much of the information is relevant. Click here to read the recap.
