Kluge Interactive is an XR studio building the future of human connection through immersive and enhanced experiences. We are best known for Synth Riders, one of the most popular VR rhythm games. We also recently announced Final Fury, the first classic arcade fighting game reimagined for VR.

Our studio is currently working on other innovative games of our own as well as making VR games for clients.

We are looking for a Senior Unity Developer who can work closely with our CTO in order to support our team of developers, build new tools and frameworks, and help with project architecture definition and project direction while being an integral part of our growing team of XR developers.

You will work closely with a cross-functional team that involves developers, game designers, sound designers, creative writers, and producers. 

 

Minimum Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience with Unity and C#, with a focus on video game programming.
  • Proven experience in creating video games or 3D applications from scratch to completion.
  • Experience with multi-platform development.
  • Familiarity with unit and integration test development.
  • Experience in shipping at least one game title before.

 

Desired Requirements

  • Experience with VR/AR is a plus.
  • Experience in the development of network applications or multiplayer video games.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain applications, video games, and modules using Unity and C#.
  • Collaborate with the CTO on the definition of the technical architecture and project direction.
  • Participate in regular meetings with the CTO to discuss the development progress and make adjustments as needed.
  • Assist in evaluating and selecting new technologies, tools, and frameworks to improve the efficiency and quality of development.
  • Participate in the review and continuous improvement of the company's software development processes and practices.
  • Participate in code review, ensuring high quality standards.
  • Identify and solve performance and optimization issues.
  • Ensure the compatibility of applications across different platforms and devices.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to present technical information in a clear and concise manner.
