We’re looking for a 2D Character Artist to join the Goodbye Volcano High team. We are looking for a candidate with experience in clean line art and strong attention to detail. This is a contract position for 6 months with the option to renew. This is a remote job but is restricted to Canadian applicants.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for drawing character art
  • Reports to the project's art director

Requirements

  • Resident and legally able to work in Canada
  • A strong portfolio
  • Someone who fits in well with our collaborative, creative culture
  • Someone who can draw clean line art
  • Someone capable of following art direction closely
  • A strong sense for proportions
  • Someone who can follow a precise workflow

Preferred experience

  • Experience with Blender basics is a plus

Compensation

This is a contract position that pays $1000/week for 4 days a week. 25 paid vacation days and unlimited sick days are included.
