We’re looking for a Networking Programmer to remotely join our wonderful team and help us build a solid networking foundation for an online game. This is a fixed-term contract position for 1 year.

 

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Tech Lead to architect and build a solid foundation for a crossplay peer-to-peer networked game

 

Requirements

  • Experience working on the networking components of multiple shipped games
  • Experience developing cross-platform peer-to-peer client networking for games
  • High level of fluency in C#; C++ and Python are assets
  • Experience developing gameplay systems in a 3rd-party game engine
  • We don’t only use Unity for our games! Unreal (or other) experience very welcome
  • Due to our small team and a significant number of our employees being international, we require potential applicants to be able to speak English

 

Preferred experience

  • Experience developing for the Unity engine

 

Compensation

This is a fixed-term contract position for 1 year.

  • $80,000/year
  • Fully remote work (Canada preferred, but we welcome applicants from anywhere)

Nous sommes à la recherche d’une programmeuse ou d’un programmeur réseau qui se joindra à distance à notre merveilleuse équipe afin de nous aider à poser les bases d’un réseau solide pour un jeu en ligne. Il s’agit d’un poste contractuel d’une durée fixe d’un an.

 

Fonctions

  • Collaborer avec la ou le responsable technique pour articuler et créer des bases solides pour un jeu interplateforme en réseau pair à pair.

 

Exigences du poste

  • Expérience de travail sur les éléments réseau de plusieurs jeux publiés.
  • Expérience dans le développement de réseaux pair à pair interplateformes.
  • Grande maîtrise de C# requise; maîtrise de C++ et de Python, un atout.
  • Expérience en développement de systèmes de jeu dans un moteur tiers.
  • Nous n’utilisons pas que Unity! Une connaissance d’Unreal (ou autre) serait un formidable atout.
  • Comme nous formons une petite équipe dont bon nombre des membres se situent à l’étranger, nous exigeons que toute personne voulant se joindre à nous sache parler anglais.

Rémunération

Il s’agit d’un poste contractuel d’une durée fixe d’un an.
