We're looking to contract a full-time Producer to join us remotely with a preference to eventually move on-site in our Montreal office. The position requires 30-40 hours' work a week. The rate for this position at KO_OP is 25 CAD an hour.

We are looking for a producer to help shepherd our recently announced queer coming of age game Goodbye Volcano High ( to completion. The contract terms are for 1 year with option to renew into a full time membership role.

The job:

Working closely with the senior producer you'll be:

  • Handling production scheduling
  • Designing and managing production workflows with the team
  • Manage contractors, job applications and logistics
  • Help determine tasks and task priority based of scheduling
  • Follow up on tasks with contractors, be a point person for when they need guidance or assignments
  • Creating both high-level project schedules and discipline based schedules
  • Creating first drafts of documents to be reviewed by the directors
  • Facilitate communication and weekly production planning between team members
  • Create and manage task tracking sheets
  • Help identify pain points in the production pipeline
  • Helping with maintaining asset management throughout the entirety of the project

We're looking for:

  • Someone experienced in games production but will also consider film, animation and software production experiences
  • Someone who fits in well with our collaborative, creative culture
  • Great communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Remote team management experience is a plus
