NPC Studio is looking for a passionate and self-starting individual to join our team as a Social Media & Marketing Manager on Fields of Mistria!

Our ideal candidate is someone who is experienced with developing and posting marketing content for games on social media. Working well with the rest of the team is a must; in turn, we are a team who will invest back into your professional development.

Basic Information 

• This is a paid contractor position with a required commitment of 35-40 hours per week
• Rates from $35+ USD per hour dependent on experience & skill level
• We are ideally looking for a candidate who can work within US Central, Eastern, or Pacific time zones to best collaborate with other team members

Responsibilities

• Creating social media posts including recording gifs and short videos in-game
• Writing and sending out monthly newsletters
• Working with our Creative Director to chart out a social media calendar
• Engaging with fans and press in a professional and coordinated manner
• Partnership with leaders on larger marketing initiatives, including facilitating and planning around on any announcements, fund raising, and press requests

Qualifications 

• Experience in creating social media posts for video games
• Up to date with best practices across all major social media platforms 
• Comfortable analyzing post performance and reporting on it
• Familiarity with GameMaker (or willingness to learn)
• Positive, professional attitude and works well with others

Extras 

• Has been part of a team that has successfully shipped a game
• Experience with farming sims 
• Sense of humor & up to date on the latest memes
