This is a paid contract position, fully remote, with flexible working hours. (Send an application to discuss further details!)
Work with a small team to develop Kynseed to completion by improving and optimising existing systems, prototyping new ideas, helping create gameplay mechanics, handling AI, and more. The specifics are flexible based on prior experience and interests.
As a gameplay coder, you will be communicating with the lead coder to ensure that all code (including existing!) is up to standard and integrates well into the frequent live build updates of the game.

Our small team is growing! We here at PixelCount Castle are focused on making uniquely ambitious games, with Kynseed being our first title currently in Early Access.
Founded in 2016, we’re a spirited bunch who are working together to follow the indie dream. Together we’re a multi-disciplined team from all walks of game dev life. A few of us even got our start in the industry working on the Fable series at Lionhead Studios, the memories and experiences of which have had a huge impact on forming our studio culture and ambitions.
We are also a deeply community-centric developer that embraces unorthodox levels of transparency with our players. We pride ourselves on always making ourselves accessible to players and never giving them a company line.
