Polyarc is seeking a candidate with a passion and expertise in the social media and community management space. This individual will help decide what Polyarc looks like across all consumer touchpoints and geographies, as well as act as a brand steward to ensure we are driving engagement and creating consumer advocates everywhere. The social media manager will focus on increasing the value of Polyarc and its game brands through effective communications and engagement.

This contract Mid to Senior Social Media Manager will execute social strategists, build channel strategy, oversee the execution of top-tier campaigns, and drive all-up social media strategy for Polyarc to garner business results. This position will drive paid and earned media activities to drive business impact.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute brand channel strategy to strengthen Polyarc’s community and foster engagement across owned social media channels (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, etc.)
  • Partner with external paid media team to develop paid social media support (sponsored stories, promoted tweets, etc.) to deliver effective reach for campaigns. Collaborate with internal business owners, agency teams, and external partners such as Facebook, Twitter, Sony, HTC, Valve, and more to develop best in class programs
  • Develop and direct social media strategy building awareness and engagement for Polyarc games through owned & paid channels
  • Create and lead unique initiatives and campaigns that highlight our employees’ passions and talents through social media
  • Keep pace with social media and internet marketing industry trends and developments

Requirements  

  • A bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, business, PR, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience developing & managing complex integrated marketing programs in an agency or corporate environment
  • Experience building, managing, and engaging communities across multiple platforms
  • Deep knowledge and experience with popular social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, TikTok, Reddit, etc.) and game-specific community forums
  • Experience collaborating with other teams for creative asset generation

Pluses

  • Games experience or heavy knowledge of the space
  • Video editing and Photoshop skills
