Come be a part of Prologue studio as a Production Director building world-class experiences that span AR and VR. We are focused on building the best possible social and gaming experiences and believe that AR/VR will help define the future of online interaction. As a Production Director, you will effectively collaborate with a wide range of disciplines such as product design, engineers, producers, product managers, and art direction to ideate and build assets to define our CrimeTrip experiences.

Responsibilities

The Production Director is responsible for maximizing the value of the product and the work of the Development Team. He is responsible for managing the Product Backlog. Product Backlog management includes:

  • Clearly expressing Product Backlog items;
  • Ordering the items in the Product Backlog to best achieve goals and missions;
  • Optimizing the value of the work the Development Team performs;
  • Ensuring that the Product Backlog is visible, transparent, and clear to all, and shows what the Scrum Team will work on next; and,
  • Ensuring the Development Team understands items in the Product Backlog to the level needed.

Minimum Qualifications

  • At least 3 – 5 years of experience with AR, VR, XR experiences.
  • Has strong knowledge of Unity engine, Git and Git LFS software;
  • Propose development methods for the applications, functionalities, design or established scenario: interactions, systems, interfaces, etc .;
  • Carry out specific developments in virtual reality and / or augmented reality;
  • Collaborate with the development manager to improve the expertise of the team;
  • Identify and propose solutions to technical issues;
  • Experience in graphic development (shaders, post-process, etc.);
  • Experience in optimization in performance;

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience shipping products with stringent runtime performance constraints, such as complex mobile or 3D applications or games
  • Knowledge of low level real-time graphics pipeline concepts
  • Experience with Unity
  • Experience working with Git
  • Virtual reality experience (Rift, Vive, GearVR, Occulus, etc.)
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies

Vacations

The Employee will be entitled to 2 weeks (10 days of paid vacation) for the first year. As another benefit, the Employee will receive Four (4) paid sick days (two more than the days offered by the Canadian government). At the end of the year, if a sick day balance is available, the Employee can then convert it into vacation or salary, at the discretion of the Employee. Prologue closes its operations for the December holiday season, these days off will be communicated to the Employee in advance and will not be taken into account in the calculation of days of annual vacation holiday.
