Come be a part of Prologue studio as a Senior Unity Developer building world-class experiences that span AR and VR. We are focused on building the best possible social and gaming experiences and believe that AR/VR will help define the future of online interaction. As a Senior Unity Developer, you will effectively collaborate with a wide range of disciplines such as product design, engineers, producers, product managers, and art direction to ideate and build assets to define our CrimeTrip experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with the design teams to define and develop content
  • Developing a modular and event-driven system architecture.
  • Creating an extensible collaboration system for real-time co-creation.
  • Extending our system architecture to seamlessly leverage compute elements from the cloud.
  • Develop broad technical expertise to assist in a wide variety of technical and artistic tasks
  • Quickly solve issues with cross-functional leads

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience with Unity
  • 4+ years experience with Data-driven design
  • 3+ years experience with Event-driven architectures
  • 3+ years experience with XR development
  • 3+ years experience with game profiling, optimization techniques, Scriptable Objects, Editor unit testing.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience shipping products with stringent runtime performance constraints, such as complex mobile or 3D applications or games
  • Knowledge of low level real-time graphics pipeline concepts
  • Experience with Unity and/or Unreal
  • Experience working with Git
  • Virtual reality experience (Rift, Vive, GearVR, Occulus, etc.)
  • Networking concepts in general
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies

Vacations

The Employee will be entitled to 2 weeks (10 days of paid vacation) for the first year. As another benefit, the Employee will receive Four (4) paid sick days (two more than the days offered by the Canadian government). At the end of the year, if a sick day balance is available, the Employee can then convert it into vacation or salary, at the discretion of the Employee. Prologue closes its operations for the December holiday season, these days off will be communicated to the Employee in advance and will not be taken into account in the calculation of days of annual vacation holiday.
