Psychic Software is seeking game writer(s) for The Necromancer’s Tale, a story-rich top-down RPG which tells a dark tale of revenge, insanity and raising the dead.
This is a part-time or full-time remote (anywhere) contract position.
The game is set in a fictional kingdom near the Adriatic Sea in 1733, and reflects a broadly realistic setting with dark-fantasy trappings. The main plots, characters, and locations have been designed; the prologue and initial chapters are at an advanced state. Your job would be to write dialogues, simple quest/puzzle sequences, simple stage direction, and some ‘lore’ items such as content for books in the world. We want writers who can:
This is a text-heavy game and there is a substantial amount of writing required.
Applicants should understand story, drama, and the unique characteristics of interactive narrative, have a passion for narrative-first RPGs, and should have written professionally on at least one published game. Experience with Articy:Draft would be useful (but not mandatory).
