Raw Fury is looking for a senior Graphic Designer to help create marketing assets for our portfolio of indie games and support our awesome developers.

You will be part of our talented Media Team within our Marketing Department, comprised of video editors and graphic designers. We’re looking for an organized individual who really knows their way around Adobe Creative Cloud and is a great team player.

We are especially looking forward to applications from people from underrepresented groups - people of color, LGBTQIA+, people with accessibility needs, marginalized genders and veterans.

The hiring process will require you to submit your portfolio for review, alongside an art test and rounds of interviews.

 

Your Duties:

  • Designing and creating a wide range of digital and print graphic assets for various channels such as social media, 1st party platforms, events, internal requests, and much more
  • Providing excellent project management (and creative feedback) for promotional game assets such as key art, logos, screenshots, and more
  • Designing and following visual brand guides for each game, ensuring assets follow projects specs, standards, and deadlines
  • Processing requests, iterating on feedback, and gaining approvals from developers, brand managers, and other stakeholders
  • Managing and organizing assets in cloud storage, being a champion of our games’ media libraries and press kits
  • Collaborating with our events team on physical assets such as signage and merchandise

 

Tools you are proficient in:

  • Adobe Creative Suite - Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign; maybe even Premiere too!
  • Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Cloud storage like SharePoint/OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox
  • Project management platforms like Asana, JIRA, and Miro
  • Website creation platforms such as WordPress and Squarespace
  • Communication tools like Microsoft Teams and Slack
  • Corporate wiki tools such as Confluence

  • Great with typography, layout, colors, etc.
  • You’re awesome working independently and very importantly, as part of a team
  • You can accept constructive criticism and can communicate politely and professionally
  • You understand deadlines and how busy seasons (like summer events) can ramp up quickly
  • Your designs convey tons of information clearly and efficiently
  • You’re passionate about graphic design and not afraid to experiment
  • You’re great at working with the challenges that asynchronous work can have
  • You have a true love for video games

 

Great-to-have:

  • Experiences as part of the gaming community (volunteering, fan projects, etc.)
  • Experience with video editing and light animation
  • Experiencing collaborating with marketing teams – social, brand, PR, etc.
  • Our current Media Art team has their own specialties, whether it be illustration, crafts, vector art, web design, whatever! If you can bring some extra creative skills to the table -- WE'D LOVE THAT!

 

Amazing-to-have:

  • There’s no strict requirement on years of experience you should have but if we had to give a number, this would be “5 years of experience in graphic design” sort of job.
  • Professional experience in the games industry, specifically with indie games
  • Experience working with
  • Steam partner backend
  • Key art, logos, screenshots
  • 10+ for hiring luck if located in a European time zone
