RED GAMES Co. is a Salt Lake City-based independent game studio focused on creating multi-generational, family-friendly games and experiences in partnership with the world’s leading toy and entertainment companies, including LEGO, Hasbro, Crayola, Universal, A&E, OWN/Discovery Networks, and Nickelodeon. We are a team of creatives, dreamers, and gamers, all looking to bring joy one game at a time.

We are looking for a User Acquisition Lead to join our team. This person will be responsible for accelerating the growth of our audience base for our existing and upcoming games. We are looking for a highly motivated and proactive self-starter who's excited to grow with us.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead strategy, implementation and ongoing management of UA campaigns for high-profile subscription based and/or free-to-play games and applications
  • Work with studio leadership, finance and data team to establish ROI targets, UA plan and budget allocation
  • Utilize analytics tools/software, and critical thinking and analysis, to manage and evaluate UA performance
  • Understand lifetime value models, return on ad spend, user segmentation, behavioral prediction, etc.
  • Provide day-to-day communication, oversight, and efficacy of external partners (third party ad networks, mobile UA partners, etc.)
  • Work closely with internal marketing/creative teams in the development of campaigns and marketing assets.
  • Remain up to date on existing and emerging trends in mobile user acquisition  

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in mobile user acquisition or performance marketing in the gaming space
  • Experience with COPPA and UA campaigns for kids based apps and games
  • Exceptional critical thinking and analytical skills with ability to translate data to actionable insights
  • Expert knowledge of and experience with ASO
  • In depth knowledge of tracking and audience measurement tools
  • Deep understanding of user acquisition KPIs and the factors that drive them
  • In depth experience managing mobile ad campaigns on various mobile ad networks; strong understanding of ad networks and DSP functioning
  • Previous experience with new mobile game/app launches
  • Understanding of mobile marketing tech including attribution and conversion tracking
  • Excellent sense of accountability, ownership, and proactivity
  • Experience marketing subscription products and/or kids games a plus
  • SQL, Python, or R experience a plus
  • Authorized to work lawfully in the United States of America as Red Games Co. does not engage in immigration sponsorship at this time
