About the Role

Sago Mini is seeking an experienced Digital Production Manager to keep our team moving forward to do their best work to deliver on the big picture premise of our digital product. A process focused role in which you will be responsible for facilitating and clarifying team initiatives and goals, this will be an exciting opportunity to oversee game development projects through their life cycle.

This is a one-year contract opportunity.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Create, prioritize, and maintain production backlogs
  • Regularly meet with your team to allocate tasks and discuss progress and setbacks
  • Responsible for communicating milestones, presenting updates, and gathering feedback
  • Owning the prioritization of deliverables, addressing concerns along the way, and reviewing progress
  • Track, monitor, and analyze the production schedule; rescoping & adjusting your strategies when need be
  • Work across disciplines to find smart ways to deliver on the product’s promise
  • Facilitate the team’s work using agile techniques
  • Help ensure the on-time delivery of the product to meet the release schedule
  • Lead bug management for team deliverables

Qualification and Skills

  • Expertise in project management
  • Practical experience with agile methodologies
  • Demonstrated experience leading multiple cross-functional teams with 10+ members
  • Fluency in software development, design, and UX
  • Understanding of how games are made
  • Ability to deconstruct a project into high level tasks
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills
  • 4+ years of relevant work experience
  • An openness to learn the basics of the technical tools we use like Unity and Illustrator

Nice to Haves

  • Knowledge of design and UX
  • Mobile game and app experience
  • A creative flair or background
  • Experience making content for kids
