We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented programmer who's passionate about creating timeless games to join our development team. This person will start off by work on a unique narrative-driven game that we are publishing, with opportunities to work on additional exciting projects after this one wraps up. This position can be remote.

Role Responsibilities

  • Plan, architect, and implement new systems, mechanics, and tools
  • Write robust and maintainable code
  • Work with other programmers to maintain high quality coding standards
  • Contribute technical and creative ideas towards all aspects of development
  • Understand and coordinate with the needs of Producers, Artists, and Designers

Your Qualifications

  • Experience in Unity and C#
  • Experience working with data formats such as JSON
  • Proactive communicator
  • Passion for video games of all kinds
  • Detail-oriented

Bonus Skills & Experience

  • Experience in RPG Maker
  • Working knowledge of Ruby
  • Experience in porting a game to a modern console (PS4, Xbox One, and/or Nintendo Switch)
  • Knowledge of localization practices and/or fluency in another language
  • Passion for game design and video game industry
  • Shipped a commercially developed game
