We are looking for an Operations Manager to manage Serenity Forge’s publishing staff and operations. You will be working with a close-knit team of publishing staff (including producers, marketers, programmers, and artists) to shepherd all publishing strategies and tactics, as well as manage external partners and agencies.

Role Responsibilities

  • Work under studio leadership to strategize and carry out publishing goals
  • Create, iterate, and improve upon operational structures and strategies in order to maximize the publishing team's productivity and quality of work
  • Work with publishing staff and external development partners to develop, manage, and execute publishing strategies
  • Manage publishing strategies, including but not limited to promotional, portfolio, development, and marketing initiatives, all catering to the brand identity of both Serenity Forge and its development partners’ products
  • Work alongside each individual publishing staff member to improve their communications, teamwork, and individual productivity
  • Manage, review, and update budgets, and seek out new ways to optimize budget utilization

Your Qualifications

  • 3+ years of commercial console/PC game marketing, product development, production, operations, or publishing experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent organizational abilities
  • Ability to think analytically and understand leadership priorities
  • Proven ability to combine creative execution with data-driven approach
  • Experience and comfort with creating, editing, and analyzing spreadsheet data in Excel/Google Sheets
  • Knowledge and passion for the video game industry and current gaming trends

  • Creative leadership experience
  • Shipped multiple multiplatform games
  • Background in finance or accounting
  • Previous management role within video game publishing
