We are looking for a UI Designer to create UI interactions for an upcoming stylized 3D game. Under the supervision of the Art Director, you will create wireframes, art, and animations for the user interface, and work with the engineering team to implement the UI design into the Unity engine.

This position can be remote.

Role Responsibilities

  • Work with existing assets, style, and implementation to improve the overall quality of the UI
  • Create a UI that is both visually pleasing, and intuitive to interact with
  • Create wireframes and mockups to communicate ideas, and provide functional frameworks to work off of
  • Coordinate with engineers to implement and iterate on desired UI functionality

Your Qualifications

  • 2D and Graphic Design skills necessary to create visually appealing UI
  • Ability to adapt to an existing style
  • Understanding of Unity technical art or animation pipeline necessary to bring the UI to life
  • Experience in Unity and UI/UX pipelines
  • Ability to effectively communicate ideas and needs
  • Experience working on UI in the context of a team project

Bonus Skills & Experience

  • Experience in C#
  • 2D Animation skills
  • Experience with Photoshop
  • Additional technical art skills
  • Shipped a commercially developed game
  • Passion for games and the video games industry
