Shiny Shoe is seeking a multi-talented, self-motivated Senior Animator to join our team as we embark on the development of a new original title!

Candidates should have a thorough understanding of visually stylized 3D animation, be an adept problem solver, have a proactive and communicative personality, be self-managed, self-motivated, and enjoy learning new skills and technologies.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years experience in a production environment in games or film
• Proficient in Maya
• Proficient with Unity’s character animation tools and system
• Production experience with Maya to Unity character animation pipelines
• Legally able to work in the United States, remote OK

‍

Responsibilities

• Work with Game Designers, Artists and Programmers to prototype, define and implement character and environment animations while maintaining game design parameters
• Work with Game Designers and Artists to bring game characters and their environments to life
• Work with other animators, provide feedback and support to bring animations to final polish
• Work with our Rigger to iteratively improve our rigs to facilitate animation
• Work with Programmers and Rigger to ensure and maintain animation fidelity and quality in game
