About Sleeping Giant:

Established in 2019, Sleeping Giant is the collaboration of Snowman and OddBird Studio. Snowman has received critical acclaim from the award-winning mobile game, Alto’s Odyssey, and is considered a giant in the mobile industry. OddBird Studio is a creative development studio which has worked on games such as Monster Prom and Quench, as well as its’ first original IP, Arrow Heads.

Sleeping Giant is focused on creating fun, stylish, and satisfying experiences that are suitable for the entire family. Having released our first game Farm Punks, in 2019, our team is now deep into our next exciting project, based on a world-class IP.

Responsibilities:

• You’ll be working closely with our art director to ensure our artistic vision continues to be successfully translated into the game
• Working with our other environment artists to develop level art kits
• Using Unity to build out beautiful levels to completion through asset placement, lighting, collisions, etc.
• You’ll be revisiting past levels and “closing” them during our QA phase and making them ready to ship
• You’ll be a proactive and positive contributor to the project and our team‍

Requirements:

• Multiple shipped games as an Environment Artist
• Experience developing for mobile and Switch
• Experience with documenting workflows
• Excellent communication skills
• Creative thinking and problem solving‍

‍

Bonus Points:

• Experience with Maya
• Experience developing shaders with Unity’s Shader Graph
• Experience working on games in the runner or racing genres
• A love for stylized games‍
