We are looking for a junior UI Designer to work with a team of 50 people, located in the 20th district of Paris.

With the current situation we work mostly remotely, but full remote is not an option in the long term, we hope to be able to meet in the studio as soon as possible.

The mission

In the context of a new IP creation, a 3D action game with stylized art direction, the candidate will:

• Firstly, rely on visual identity documents to deploy digital and print communication media.
• Ultimately, follow UX and game design documents to make low-definition wireframe, high-def mockups of new UI components, then contribute to their integration in Unreal Engine. Think the journey, then go into detail.

Candidate profile

Mandatory:

• Advanced studies in graphic design, digital media or equivalent
• Work independently when needed, iterate following feedback, teamwork
• Icon/vector drawing (Figma, Sketch or Illustrator)
• Typography knowledge
• Empathy

Ideally:

• UX knowledge
• Motion design
• Previous experience with Unreal Engine

6 months fixed-term contract opening immediately, renewable once. Portfolio mandatory. Work in Paris, no long-term remote work.

Sloclap is an independant games studio created in Paris in 2015. Our first project, Absolver, is an online action game with unique gameplay mechanics, and was released on August 2017 on PC and PS4, and in January 2019 on Xbox One. Absolver has sold over 300k copies to date, and millions more have tried it through the PS+ Game of the Month and Xbox Game Pass programs.

There are thirty of us on the team now, and we're currently working our next project, Sifu.
