Spearhead Games, an award-winning independent Game Development studio and creators of Stories: The Path of Destinies and Omensight, is looking for a VFX Artist to join a dynamic and passionate team, and work on an exciting and innovative new project.

We here at Spearhead specialize in building our own IPs, targeted at consoles and PCs. Job description

  • Responsible for conceiving, developing and integrating environmental, cinematic and gameplay VFX
  • Work closely with designers to understand and comply with functional and gameplay requirements of VFX
  • Work closely with the art team to insure visual style of VFX is consistent with the art direction
  • Help the project manager estimate working time and plan tasks and follow up with other team members involved in specific features to insure a quality and timely delivery.

Essential Requirements

  • At least 1 years experience as a VFX Artist in games
  • Experience in UE4, including Blueprint, Cascade and Materials
  • Autonomous and flexible
  • Good communication and collaboration skills
  • Capable of receiving and collecting feedback, improving and iterating on VFX
  • Strong sense of aesthetics
  • Good understanding of timing and animation principles
  • Technical art aptitudes including materials, shaders and performance

About Our Games

Project Witchstone is a living and reactive world where players will be offered unprecedented options to role play their character and influence their environment, capturing the fun and freedom of a pen & paper RPG campaign.
