We are looking for a Producer to project manage the development of Chorus: An Adventure Musical and work with the team as we grow.

This role is a full-time, permanent position located in Melbourne, Australia. It is open to Australian citizens, residents, and those legally able to live and work in Australia (such as NZ citizens/residents) and live in or are prepared to move to Melbourne (once COVID restrictions lift). Unfortunately, we are not able to support international work visas, and this is not a remote role.  

You will be working to refine Chorus’ production timeline and proactively assist the team in creating and meeting milestones, creating process, removing barriers to work, and finding ways the team can be more efficient.

At its core, this role is about people and relationships. Our ideal candidate is an empathetic role-model who embodies servant leadership and has the ability to coach a team to achievement in positive and healthy ways.

The remuneration range for this role is $70-80k AUD package depending on experience. The role would ideally begin January 2021.

Responsibilities

  • Managing and coordinating the production schedule
  • Ensuring we meet our goals without overwork
  • Milestone creation and tracking
  • Working with the team to identify and manage potential risk factors
  • Managing scope to achieve the best outcome for delivery and team satisfaction
  • Pipeline management and quality standards
  • Production rhythm (daily standups etc), recording velocity of product delivery
  • Tracking tech initiatives and exploration
  • Documenting and managing production processes
  • Internal and external production communications
  • Managing external contractors and outsourcing
  • Budget management and reporting

Requirements

  • Two or more shipped products as a project manager or producer (games or equivalent)
  • Project management expertise
  • Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies
  • Experience working with contractors and outsourcers

Bonus Points

  • Previous experience with mixed in-house/remote development
  • Experience managing QA pipelines
  • Experiencing managing and scaling multiple teams and projects in tandem
  • Demonstrated ability to avoid team overwork
