Super Strange Studios is an animation production company known for its shamelessly silly animation. We achieve our eye-catching style with a combination of stopmotion animation, CG and puppetry.

We are looking for a talented video editor and After Effects expert. You will be responsible for editing and postproduction on our short-form kids crafts and science series. The role will include:

  • Episode planning and editing
  • Adding additional animations and effects
  • Creation of supporting key art and graphics
  • Recording “making of” video, time-lapse and photographs
  • File management and delivery

As a key member of a small, but hugely creative team, we will encourage you to bring your own ideas to the table and help grow your skills in animation production.


  • The ideal candidate must have a showreel demonstrating excellent video editing skills and After Effects animation.
  • The role would be suitable for a recent graduate, someone looking to break into the industry, or a more experienced video editor looking for a new fun and creative position.

Key Skills:

  • A great knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Self-motivated with a passion for creating high quality video content.
  • Attention to detail and a flair for visual storytelling.
  • Great at communicating your ideas and are comfortable working within a team.
  • The ability to work independently and adapt to new tools and techniques.
  • Excellent organisation, planning skills and time management.
  • Respond well to feedback and act upon it.

Additional Details:

  • Full Time: 37.5 hours per week
  • Salary: Dependant on experience
  • Start Date: January 2022
  • Location: Worthing, West Sussex
