We’re looking for a Unity C# developer to join the team here at Thud Media and get involved in our ongoing game and tools development. The ideal candidate for this role will have worked on released game titles, have experience in tool development and have a hunger to learn new processes and technology.
This is a great opportunity to be a part of our busy, close-knit crew working remotely, contributing to games and animation creation.

Who Are We
We’re Thud Media, an award winning development studio making games, apps and experiences for various platforms. We are specialists in Unity with several game releases to our name for PC and mobile, as well as studio (TV) and installations. In addition we have created over twenty HTML5 games for browser and mobile platforms since the company began.
We develop standout interactive content and experiences, games for all ages, including specialised preschool content. We build websites that meet our high design expectations and have created interactive eBooks, quiz show apps, second screen experiences and more for a variety of projects and clients.
The company is based in Cardiff, Wales in a studio alongside Cloth Cat Animation; we have a rich grounding in design, animation and VFX and combine this with our technical expertise to deliver compelling interactive content.

The Magnificent Train Journey is a vibrant route finding puzzle game designed and built in WebGL for Tansport for Wales, created to encourage engagement with their new national campaign. The game is about connections, the player customises their train avatar, a nod to the ownership ideals of the competition, and then takes that through the stages. Working out the puzzles of connecting rail (and road), they must find the most efficient way to make links.
