ToneStone is a musical creativity platform for everyone! 

The ToneStone platform removes all barriers to song making by providing the tools, content and community experience that unlocks musical creativity. 

Founded by the Creative Director of Guitar Hero and Rock Band, ToneStone is currently in active development and in private testing. About the Role 

ToneStone’s developers will have the opportunity for ownership and clear responsibility for building the ToneStone platform and features as ToneStone scales its processes and increases its overall development velocity.

You'll design and deliver new engine features, new user features, and new ways to delight our early users.

Responsibilities 

  • Work with other developers and content creators to develop new application and platform features
  • Support the design and iteration of new features, making good use of feedback from customers, peers and other stakeholders
  • Assist in developing project plans and commitments, and then deliver consistently against those commitments.
  • Write clear, maintainable, portable, and highly functional code
  • Ship new features and improvements quickly and regularly
  • Profile and optimize to remove bottlenecks (both technical and process)
  • Be an advocate for players and developers: Insist on the highest standards, drive to operational excellence, help create functional and engaging customer-centric features.

Qualifications

  • Deep experience with the Unity game engine.
  • Experience shipping multiple games 
  • Demonstrated ability to own problems, self-direct, and drive work to completion
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer experience
  • Passion for music or music-making
  • Passion for gaming
  • Strong computer science and engineering fundamentals
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
