Treehouse Games is looking for amazing people who are excited to create games that are the best way for friends to spend time together.

At Treehouse we believe that product quality is critical for achieving this mission and want shipping stable, well tested software to be a core competency of the studio. We are looking for an experienced QA lead who can own product quality for an in development cooperative live service game. As our first dedicated QA hire you design and implement a high level testing strategy, work closely with discipline leads to develop and execute test plans, and build a QA team that is capable of testing a global cross platform live service game.

Our goal is to build a supportive team of strong communicators and area specialists that love to collaborate across discipline lines to create exciting experiences for friends to enjoy together. We are committed to remote working and already have team members across North America.


  • Create and execute test plans to ensure the product meets quality standards and platform requirements.
  • QA Department budgeting and vendor procurement.
  • Design and document testing methodologies, bug processes and procedures, and triage best practices.
  • Establish testing requirements and work with production to ensure that we hit milestone quality goals
  • Build and manage a QA team through multiple phases of development. Including onboarding and training.
  • Establish best practices for testing including versioning, test environments, and reporting standards.
  • Manage database of issues and ensure quality bug reporting.
  • Represent the QA discipline in project-level planning and leadership meetings.

Who You Are

  • Proficient at working in a fully remote team environment. We balance synchronous and asynchronous communication across multiple time zones to get things done.
  • Proactive at identifying areas of concern and independently acting on it. We're a small team and the impact of each person is huge!
  • Considerate with feedback in both directions. We work to always receive feedback gracefully, deliver feedback constructively, and have discussions and disagreements respectfully.
  • Persistent at maintaining a healthy perspective about the larger game we’re building together. We do the extra work to value every team member's point of view and we’re looking for fresh perspectives, especially of those from diverse backgrounds.
  • Excited to work on co-operative games with a focus on fun experiences with friends. We're making games we want to play


  • 5+ years Games QA experience with some time in a management / leadership role.
  • Online availability during our core hours of 11am to 4pm PST.
  • Experience leading and growing teams.
  • Familiarity with industry standard bug tracking software such as Jira or Azure Dev Ops

Nice To Have

  • Experience testing Live service multiplayer games.
  • Experience working with external QA partners.
  • Experience with Test Automation in Games.
  • Experience shipping games on multiple platforms
